Is it real, or is it Memorex?
The hottest tech news lately is the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to write blogs, marketing content, email responses, articles and even research papers. The consensus is that it does a pretty good job and can save you a lot of time in the process. In fact, it’s become so good that many are unable to distinguish the difference between being real or ‘Memorex’; a suitable metaphor for those that remember the days when first recording voice to tape.
Chat GPT has been in the headlines probably the most. A product of Open AI, Chat GPT is a cloud-based platform that responds to requests in a conversational way. I was so impressed by the reviews, I decided to try it out myself.
In this blog, I’m going to demonstrate the power of this new AI resource and let Chat GPT do all the work for me in writing this blog.
To begin with, I login to my OpenAI.com account (no fees) and enter the statement: “write a blog targeted to small business owners with non-technical skills, on how to use AI for writing blogs.”
In moments the following blog appears before my very eyes.

As a small business owner, you understand the importance of blogging to attract potential customers, improve brand awareness, and establish thought leadership. However, writing regular blog posts can be time-consuming and challenging, especially if you don't have a strong writing background.
Fortunately, you can use AI to streamline your content creation process and produce high-quality blog posts without requiring technical skills. Here are some ways to use AI for writing blogs that are simple and accessible:
Generate Blog Post Ideas: Use AI-powered tools such as Content Ideator, SEMRush, and Buzzsumo to identify relevant and popular blog topics based on keywords, search volume, and social media engagement. These tools provide you with a list of potential topics and headlines that you can use as a starting point for your blog posts.
Optimize Content for Search Engines: Use SEO tools such as Yoast SEO, SE Ranking, and Ahrefs to analyze your content and provide recommendations on how to improve readability, keyword density, and meta tags. These tools have easy-to-use interfaces that guide you through the optimization process and provide tips and suggestions on how to improve your blog post's search engine rankings.
Personalize Content for Your Audience: Use content personalization tools such as Acrolinx, OneSpot, and Episerver to tailor your blog posts to your audience's preferences, needs, and behavior. These tools use data analytics to identify your audience's characteristics and provide suggestions on how to adapt your writing style and content to meet their needs.
Enhance Writing Quality: Use AI-powered writing tools such as Grammarly, Hemingway Editor, and ProWritingAid to identify grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors and provide suggestions on how to improve writing style and structure. These tools have intuitive interfaces and provide real-time feedback on your writing, helping you to create high-quality content without requiring technical writing skills.
Create Blog Posts Automatically: Use AI content generators such as GPT-3, Articoolo, and Writesonic to create articles automatically based on your keywords and topic. These tools allow you to create content quickly and easily, without requiring extensive writing skills.
In conclusion, AI can be a valuable asset for small business owners who want to produce high-quality blog posts efficiently and effectively, even if they lack technical writing skills.
By leveraging AI-powered tools, you can generate relevant ideas, optimize for search engines, personalize for your audience, enhance writing quality, and even create articles automatically.
These tools have easy-to-use interfaces and provide real-time feedback, making it accessible for small business owners with non-technical backgrounds to create engaging and informative blog posts.
